Become a writer of the sourcebook for the 70th anniversary Korea opera

I become one of the writers of the sourcebook for the 70th anniversary of Korea opera conducted by the Foundation for the 70th anniversary of the Opera in Korea. I am a lead author and Musicologist Jeon Jung-Im (전정임), the professor of Chungnam National University, is a corresponding author.

The contents will be divided into two books: a chronological list of opera performances in Korea from 1948 to 2017 and critical reviews on the history of opera in Korea.

I am going to write an article analyzing the annual opera performance trends from 2007 to the present in Korea.

I donated the opera database (1948-2007) I created when I wrote my master’s thesis. Three interns will supplement the data and enter additional data from 2007 onwards. Because the foundation has a lot of pamphlets and other stuff, they could fill in the parts I made blank with no records.
